ION TP3 POS Computers

The POS-X ION TP3 has reached end of life. It has been replaced by the POS-X EVO TP6.

This product replaces the older Panasonic Stingray.

The POS-X ION TP3 POS computer is a stylish and affordable solution for businesses wanting touchscreen computing. Available with a variety of configurations, the ION TP3 can be deployed as a thin-client order station or even as a full POS server.

The 15" touchscreen on the ION TP3 is crisp and large enough to display most POS software platforms. It uses resistive touch technology to promote fast and easy operation, ideal for the fast-paced order entry you may see in a busy restaurant. You get your choice of Intel Atom or Celeron processor and up to 8 GB of RAM, allowing you to scale your deployment to best meet each station's needs.

Additional accessories are available for your ION TP3, allowing you to improve functionality while saving counter space. A 3-track magnetic card reader can mount to the side of the monitor, enabling you to run credit cards or manage access with employee ID cards. For additional security, an integrated biometric reader is also available. And for customer-facing processes, you have your choice of traditional 2-line customer displays, or one of three LCDs, available in 8" and 15" models.

Uptime is vital from your POS computer, and thankfully the ION TP3 is built to last. A fanless design protects the internal circuitry from dust accumulation, great in messy environments such as bars or restaurants. The sturdy design of the computer holds up well even under stressful use, further extending its lifespan. Each ION TP3 comes with a 3-year warranty, including 2-day advance exchange service, making it a smart way to maximize your return on investment.

Great value touch computer. You can't beat the POS-X warranty with two day replacement. The price for the upgrade to a Celeron processor model is definitely worth it for best performance.
