Wax ribbons are most useful for general indoor labeling and combination Wax/Resin ribbons are the most versatile, offering moderate scratch, abrasion, and mild chemical resistance. Resin ribbons are often much more costly than their wax counterparts but they provide optimum durability and resistance to rough environmental conditions. (constant exposure to sun and weather, chemicals) Not all operations need a Resin ribbon's resilience, thus we suggest a Wax/Resin combination for most barcode printing needs.
