In cases where a Bluetooth Cradle is not available for use, most wireless scanners can use a Bluetooth Adapter on a laptop or desktop PC, to pair directly to the computer. With Zebra scanners specifically, they make pairing to a Windows PC easier than other companies by using the Zebra Scan-To-Connect utility that pairs the scanner seamlessly to the Bluetooth Adapter. The downside to pairing directly to a Bluetooth Dongle (Adapter) is that the wireless scanner will need to be charged separately.
