Why isn´t my Kitchen / Bar / or Recipt printer printing?

Answer

First, make sure that your Printer was installed correctly.

  1. Right Click on My Computer
  2. Click on the Hardware Tab
  3. If you see a device with an exclamation mark, then refer to your printer documentation, or contact technical support


Next, go to:
  1. Start
  2. Settings
  3. Control Panel
  4. Printers
Make sure that you see the proper printer installed and that you can print a Windows Test page. If not, refer to the printer documentation.

If everything looks good, then we can now setup Aldelo.
  1. Go to Back Office
  2. Station Settings
  3. Printer tab
  4. Receipt Printer tab (for the receipt printer) or Kitchen/Bar tab (for the kitchen and bar printers)
  5. With the ´Printer´ drop down menu, select the appropriate printer. Then under printer type, you are able to select the font size for specific printer types and language support.
