We often see this issue when customers attach a second monitor or customer-facing display for the first time. Typically, you will need to identify which display is the primary one, and we recommend calibrating as well. If your PC is otherwise undamaged, including the touch display itself, the steps below should help.
Open Tablet PC Settings
- Search for 'Control Panel' in your windows Desktop Search
- Once Control Panel is open, search for 'Tablet PC Settings'.
- After opening Tablet PC Settings, select 'Setup...' within the Configure Section toward the top. The screen should turn white with instructions stating that you need to tap the primary display to set it. The White Screen will automatically go away.
- Next, ensure that the correct Monitor is selected under 'Display:' in Display Options. Then, select 'Calibrate...'. This will turn your screen white with a new set of instructions. Tap the specified locations to calibrate your touch display. The White Screen will automatically go away.
- After the Screen goes away, you have successfully enabled your touch controls as well as having the touch display calibrated.
