Answer

Download the MagSwipe Configuration Utility if it isn't already installed.

1. Open the configuration utility
2. Click Select Reader Interface
3. Select the interface type (specify COM port is applicable)
4. Click Continue
5. Select Change Basic Reader Settings
6. Click on the Pre/Postamble tab
7. Select the desired track settings
8. Click Send to MSR
