Why is my printer printing slowly with WindowsME?

Answer

It may be printing slowly because of outdated firmware. Verify your printer's firmware by printing a self test:

  • Power off the printer
  • Hold the feed button
  • Then power it back on while holding the feed button
If it is an older firmware, 2.6 or below, contact our Tech Support at 1-800-903-6571 or email at support@posguys.com to obtain the latest firmware. The latest firmware will address the printing speed issue with the Windows Millennium OS.
