My XM95 is reading inconsistently. How can I fix this?

Answer

One of the best ways to test the consistency on an XM95 in keyboard emulation is to open up a Notepad document and swipe the card multiple times into it. If certain sections of the data are missing or different between each swipe, then there may be a problem with the speed on the reader. The read speed can be changed by using the XM95 configuration utility.
