My Symbol LI4278 still is not transmitting data to the computer, even after pairing to the cradle. How do I fix this?

Answer

The first thing we would recommend, is to disconnect the USB cable from the cradle. This can be achieved by locating a pinhole near where the cable is plugged in. Once you locate the pinhole, use a paperclip to insert into the hole, and press the tab on the cable end, allowing you to remove it. Once you remove the cable, firmly reseat it into the cradle. Next, unplug the USB cable from the computer side, and plug it back in again.

Test the scanner by opening Notepad on Windows or Notes on Mac, and with the cursor blinking on the inside of the application, scan a product barcode. The data should transmit to the application.
