How do I accept payments at events and on the road with Quickbooks Point of Sale?

Answer

In order to be able to run transactions at both your main place of business and at events (expos, farmers markets, swap meets, etc) you have two options when using Quickbooks POS. If you are using Intuit Payments to accept credit cards, you can use an app on your phone or mobile device to make sales at events and have it sync back to your POS software. If you are using any other payment processor, you will have to purchase the Multi-store edition of Quickbooks POS. This will allow you to use a laptop or similar mobile computer to connect back to your main POS system from another location.
