My printer is connected, but I still can't print from ChowNow.

Answer

Confirm that your bluetooth settings are correct and the printer is connected.

Perform a self-test:

  1. Power your printer off
  2. Hold down the Power and Feed buttons at the same time
  3. Release the buttons when the printer begins printing the self test page


On the test page, find the "Emulation" field. The Chow Now app will not connect to your printer if the Emulation field reads "StarPRNT."

To change the Emulation:

  1. Open the lid
  2. Hold the Power and Feed buttons
  3. Release the Power and Feed buttons when "Setup Mode" appears on the screen
  4. Close the lid
  5. The printer should print out a confirmation that the Emulation mode has changed
