I Get an Error 484, Problem Getting Printer Information when starting the Cash Register. How can I fix this?
Answer
You must have at least one printer driver installed on the system, even if you are not going to use a printer. If you are not going to use a printer, you can install the Generic/Text Only printer driver that comes with Windows. This can be done under Start > Settings > Printers > Add Printer, then follow the Add Printer Wizard instructions. In the Manufacturers List select Generic and Generic/Text only for the model.
If you are going to use a printer, install the printer drivers (which can be found under the product listing on our website), and that should remove the error message.
