MC2200/MC2700 Mobile Computers

This product replaces the older Zebra MC2100.

Right features, ruggedness and ergonomics at the right price for small and medium businesses.

The Zebra MC2200 and MC2700 give workers an affordable, purpose-built mobile computer for warehouses, manufacturing plants, retail stores, yards, ports and field operations. The Wi-Fi-only MC2200 keeps teams connected inside the facility, while the MC2700 adds cellular data for large outdoor areas and mobile work beyond the four walls.

An integrated 4-inch touchscreen and 34-key keypad support both traditional terminal-emulation workflows and newer touch applications. Zebra combines this application flexibility with a slim, ergonomic design, enterprise barcode capture, removable batteries and Mobility DNA tools that simplify everyday use, deployment and management.

Unparalleled ergonomics and flexibility

Designed for unmatched comfort, ease of use and productivity

Zebra shaped and positioned the keys so workers can identify them by feel, even while wearing gloves, and used high-contrast colors to improve visibility in changing light. The slender, tapered body reduces pressure points and fits a wide range of hand sizes, while two finger perches support one-handed use of both the keypad and touchscreen.

Two devices in one — brick and gun

Add the tool-free snap-on trigger handle to turn either model into a gun-style device for scan-intensive work. The handle preserves access to the speaker and optional camera, keeps scanning performance intact and uses a trigger rated for three million presses.

WiFi and cellular to connect any worker, anywhere

The MC2700 adds LTE Category 6 WWAN, a nano-SIM slot, optional eSIM and satellite positioning. It can keep drivers, technicians and yard or port workers connected where Wi-Fi coverage is unavailable, unreliable or too costly to deploy. The MC2200 is designed for workers who rely on enterprise Wi-Fi throughout stores, warehouses and production areas. Both models support Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and optional NFC for connections to headsets, printers and other business devices.

The right hardware and software features. The right ruggedness. Advanced ergonomics. All for the right price.

Built to serve your business for years

IP65 sealing protects against dust and water, while the housing is engineered for repeated 5-foot drops to concrete and 500 tumbles. Corning Gorilla Glass strengthens two vulnerable areas: the touchscreen and scanner exit window. The devices are also designed for frequent wipedowns with common disinfectants, including bleach, hydrogen peroxide and alcohol.

Zebra’s most powerful ‘ultimate series’ Android platform

The Snapdragon 660 platform provides responsive application performance while helping conserve battery power. Shared Zebra architecture can also simplify application deployment and support when an organization uses multiple Zebra device types. Operating-system upgrade eligibility depends on the memory configuration.

Zebra’s enterprise-class data capture

DataWedge sends scanned barcode data into existing applications without application changes. Device Diagnostics lets administrators and users test major device systems and determine whether an issue can be corrected on site or needs repair.

Disinfectant-ready to protect your workers

Full-shift battery power

Choose a 3,500 mAh standard battery or a 4,900 mAh extended battery to match the shift and workload. Warm Swap mode lets workers replace a depleted battery without shutting down the device or closing active applications.

The right accessories make device management easy

Zebra offers multi-slot device and battery chargers, a single-slot device and spare-battery charger, hand straps, a holster, the attachable trigger handle and other accessories for front-line use and backroom device management. This helps reduce downtime when the device is used throughout demanding workdays.

Unparalleled value with out-of-the-box Mobility DNA tools

Add powerful enterprise features to standard Android

With a qualifying Zebra OneCare support agreement, LifeGuard for Android provides ongoing security updates for supported devices throughout their service life. This helps organizations keep deployed mobile computers current without relying only on the standard Android update cycle.

Stage your devices for use in seconds with StageNow

StageNow can configure a small or large fleet by scanning a barcode or tapping an NFC tag. Enterprise Home Screen helps administrators control the applications and device features available to different worker groups.

Workflows for inside and outside the four walls

Warehouse, retail and manufacturing

The MC2200 supports picking, receiving, replenishment, inventory, price checking and production applications in Wi-Fi-covered facilities. The keypad, touchscreen and optional trigger handle allow one device family to serve mixed data-entry and scan-intensive roles.

Yard, port, delivery and field service

The MC2700 adds LTE, optional eSIM and satellite positioning for workers who move beyond facility Wi-Fi. Camera, NFC, memory and operating-system upgrade eligibility vary by configuration and must be confirmed before deployment.
