The latest in wireless connectivity
Private and public 5G — new cost-effective wireless options
The MC9450 is Zebra's first gun-style mobile computer with both public and private 5G, extending connected workflows into yards, ports and other areas beyond Wi-Fi coverage. Nano SIM and eSIM support can be used simultaneously, subject to carrier, plan and regional availability, so operations can maintain multiple cellular connections or separate private and public service.
Wi-Fi 6E – maximum speed and performance, indoors and outside
Wi-Fi 6E can provide up to four times the bandwidth and capacity, up to three times the speed and access to as much as three times the spectrum of previous-generation Wi-Fi when used with compatible infrastructure. That additional capacity helps voice, video and data applications stay responsive in busy warehouses and manufacturing plants.
Advanced Bluetooth connectivity

Best-in-class data capture and communication options
The latest in advanced scanning technology
Choose the SE4770 for dependable standard-range 1D/2D scanning or the SE58 with IntelliFocus for barcodes from near contact to more than 100 ft. away. The SE58's green laser aimer can be up to seven times more visible than a typical red aimer, helping workers target the correct pallet or rack location at distance.
Biometric facial recognition
High-resolution front and rear cameras support video collaboration, photo documentation and biometric facial recognition. Zebra OCR Wedge can capture text such as container identifiers, tire identification numbers, vehicle identification numbers and license plates into applications without manual entry.
Unmatched camera technology
High-resolution front and rear cameras support video collaboration, photo documentation and biometric facial recognition. Zebra OCR Wedge can capture text such as container identifiers, tire identification numbers, vehicle identification numbers and license plates into applications without manual entry.
Process automation made easy with OCR Wedge
High-resolution front and rear cameras support video collaboration, photo documentation and biometric facial recognition. Zebra OCR Wedge can capture text such as container identifiers, tire identification numbers, vehicle identification numbers and license plates into applications without manual entry.
Choose from seven keypads to best match your data types
Seven keypad options support function-key, numeric and alphanumeric workflows without forcing one data-entry layout on every role. Keypads can be replaced in the field, allowing a device to be reassigned or repaired without sending the entire computer to a depot.
Enable push-to-talk and secure text messaging
An optional Workcloud Communication push-to-talk and secure messaging license can connect frontline teams over supported wireless networks. Supported batteries include a Bluetooth Low Energy beacon that can work with Zebra Device Tracker under the appropriate license to help locate a misplaced device, even when its main battery power is depleted. MC9300 accessories are backward compatible with the MC9400 and MC9450, and supported MC9200-and-newer charge cradles can be reused with an adapter. Exact charger, battery and accessory compatibility should be verified for the intended configuration before deployment.
Faster, more rugged and more flexible
The power to handle all your applications — simultaneously
The MC9400 and MC9450 build on a gun-style mobile-computer family with nearly five million units deployed. Compared with the MC9300, the Qualcomm 4490 platform provides 2.5 times more processing power, 50% more RAM, four times the Flash storage and up to eight times the microSD capacity, giving current and future Android applications more room to run.
No more lost devices
Standard and freezer-ready configurations let organizations match sealing, batteries and operating temperature to the work area. Non-incendive Class I, Division 2 configurations are available in North America for qualifying hazardous locations; availability and certification are configuration- and region-specific.
