How to Download and Use Splashtop SOS

Splashtop SOS allows a technician or IT administrator to securely access your device for remote support. Follow the instructions below to download the application, enable permissions, and start a remote support session on desktop or mobile devices.

Instructions for Android

Video Tutorial

1. Download Splashtop SOS from the Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and agree to the terms and conditions.
3. Agree to enable Accessibility access when prompted.
4. You will be redirected to Accessibility settings — select Splashtop SOS.
5. Toggle Use Splashtop SOS to ON.
6. Tap Allow when prompted for permissions.
7. Enable notifications by tapping Allow.
8. Provide the generated session code to your IT administrator.
9. Check the boxes and allow recording and media access.
10. Tap Start Now to allow screen sharing.
11. To disconnect, tap the red Disconnect button.

*Download the Zebra add-on to enable remote control on Zebra devices.

Instructions for iOS

1. Download Splashtop SOS from the App Store.
2. Allow microphone and notification access.
3. Provide the generated session code to your IT administrator.
4. Allow screen broadcast and tap Start Broadcast.
5. To disconnect, tap the red Disconnect button.
