Superior ergonomics for mission critical workers
Thin and light — redefined
The tablet measures 12.1 x 8.9 x 0.6 in. and weighs 2.8 lb. with its standard battery. Its low profile in a vehicle dock preserves driver visibility while keeping information-rich screens easy to reach.
Unmatched versatility — 2 devices in 1
Detach the keyboard for maximum tablet mobility, or attach it for laptop-style data entry. The friction hinge opens up to 120 degrees and lets workers position the screen at more angles than fixed-detent designs.

Unmatched versatility — 2 devices in 1
The universal dock transforms the ET80/ET85 into an office desktop or a mobile workstation in a police car, truck or forklift. It supports tablet and keyboard modes and can be configured with USB Type-A, HDMI, Ethernet and power connections.
The tablet provides USB-C with USB-PD and DisplayPort, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports and expansion for Gigabit Ethernet or DB9 serial. DisplayPort 1.2 supports 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz; the dock can drive two 1080p HDMI displays.

A display that’s all business
The 12-inch 3:2 screen provides more vertical space for information-rich applications. Its 800-nit, sunlight-readable QHD panel adds anti-reflective and anti-smudge treatments, Corning Gorilla Glass and night-vision mode.
Ten-point capacitive touch supports wet and glove modes and an MPP 2.0 active pen. These input options let the same device move between office, vehicle, plant-floor and outdoor workflows.

Built-in protection prevents unauthorized access
Every model includes an FHD Windows Hello autofocus camera with a mechanical privacy shade for facial recognition. Optional fingerprint, insertable Common Access Card and contactless NFC smart-card readers support stronger authentication.
Additional protections include TPM 2.0, NIST-compliant BIOS, Absolute persistence technology in the BIOS and Kensington cable-lock slots on the tablet or tablet-and-keyboard assembly. Absolute capabilities require software and activation.

Tailor your tablets for every user with a full family of accessories
Vehicle and office docks create fixed or mobile workstations, while a four-slot charger simplifies battery management. A rugged boot raises the drop specification from 4 ft./1.2 m to 5 ft./1.5 m.
Expansion backs add a kickstand, rotating hand strap, battery bay or CAC reader. Other choices include an MPP 2.0 stylus, shoulder or handle straps, charging cables and a tool-free Ethernet/serial adapter.

Tailor your tablets for every user with a full family of accessories
The IP65 detachable keyboard has standard-size keys, a multi-touch touchpad, color backlighting and six programmable keys, including an emergency key. The tablet-with-keyboard configuration is specified for a 3 ft./0.9 m drop.
The 1.85 lb. keyboard brings combined dimensions to 12.1 x 9.6 x 1.1 in. It supports laptop-style entry while remaining detachable for mobile work.
The most advanced features and the latest technologies
The most advanced wireless connections
Wi-Fi 6E with 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.1 with Audio LE connect the ET80 and ET85 to modern networks and peripherals. Wi-Fi 6E's 6 GHz band requires Windows 11 Pro; Windows 10 configurations use Wi-Fi 6.
ET85 configurations add data-only 5G or global LTE, plus Nano SIM and eSIM slots. In the United States, CBRS can support private LTE networks when the tablet has a 4G or 5G radio, and public-safety network certification supports first-responder deployments.
The most advanced features and the latest technologies
The most advanced wireless connections
ET85 configurations can add dual-band GPS with GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo support; carrier availability varies. Wi-Fi, cellular and GNSS antenna pass-throughs help maintain wireless service when the tablet is docked in a vehicle.
NFC supports peer-to-peer, card reader/writer and card-emulation modes for compatible ISO, MIFARE and FeliCa workflows. These options cover identity, smart-card and proximity interactions without requiring the barcode scanner.
The most advanced features and the latest technologies
Designed to the latest rugged standards
The fanless tablet is dust-tight and rated IP65 with ports open, allowing it to be hosed off after muddy or dusty work. The fanless thermal design also suits clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive facilities.
MIL-STD-810H testing covers drops, vibration, thermal shock, shock and solar radiation; the operating range is -4°F to 140°F/-20°C to 60°C. Select Class 1 Division 2 tablet and keyboard configurations support use where flammable hazardous materials may be present.
The most advanced features and the latest technologies
Approved Cleaning and Disinfecting Agents
Approved agents include mild dish soap, 70% isopropyl alcohol, 0.5% to 3% hydrogen peroxide and specified diluted bleach; consult the user guide. The tablet is also tested for fluid contamination and electrostatic discharge.
Vehicle Certifications
For European 12 V vehicles, the tablet-and-keyboard dock is E-Mark certified and needs no external DC-to-DC converter. Match certification to the deployment region.

World-class data capture
The 13 MP autofocus rear camera has a user-controlled LED flash and mechanical privacy shade. It can document traffic-accident damage, patient wounds, utility faults and manufacturing equipment that needs repair.
The optional SE4107 2D scanner is designed to capture damaged, scratched and poorly printed barcodes. Its lower-right position lets an officer scan a driver's license while the tablet remains in a vehicle dock.
The most advanced features and the latest technologies
Superior audio
Dual speakers and four noise-cancelling microphones support push-to-talk, video calls, dictation and voice commands. USB-C and USB-A ports support headsets.
The ultimate processing power for the ultimate user experience
Eleventh-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 choices include vPro configurations. Choose 8 GB or 16 GB memory and a tool-less 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB PCIe SSD.
Zebra-only Value Add Software Tools
Seamless push-to-talk communication and secure text messaging
Workcloud Communication provides push-to-talk and secure messaging in a facility, vehicle or the field. A button press reaches an individual or team.
Messaging can show worker availability, location and a complete log, supporting dispatch, incident response and field service.
Zebra-only Value Add Software Tools
Ingenious battery technology
The 5,180 mAh, 39.8 Wh standard battery is user replaceable and reaches a full charge in about 2.5 hours. The 45 W USB-PD Type-C AC adapter is sold separately.
An expansion back can add a hot-swappable 3,400 mAh, 25.8 Wh secondary battery for longer shifts. PowerPrecision+ exposes battery-health metrics so administrators can identify batteries that may not provide dependable shift power.
Zebra-only Value Add Software Tools
Scanner configuration and data integration made easy
Zebra 123Scan automatically detects and configures the optional scanner, allowing first-time users to bring scanning online quickly. It can also format barcode data for an application, reducing integration effort and manual-entry errors.
Mobility DNA and DataCapture DNA add device functionality and simplify deployment and management. Feature availability varies by model, and some capabilities require a support contract.
Markets and Applications
Government and public-safety uses include routing, personnel tracking, incident and patient-care reporting, e-citation, records, mobile incident command and inventory. Utilities and field-service teams can use the tablet for dispatch, emergency repairs, mobile work orders, inspections, meter reading and remote assistance.
Manufacturing workflows include plant management, mobile HMI, PLC programming, communications, maintenance and repair, quality assurance, forklift operation and specialized clean-room or pharmaceutical work. The three-year Zebra warranty supports these long-term enterprise deployments.
