FAQ# 2343: What is the difference between the Single Interval and Dual Interval options for the MP7000 scanner/scale?

Answer

The standard Single Interval MP7000 scale measures 0-15kg in 5g increments, or 0-30lb in 0.01 lb increments. This is suitable for almost all applications.

The MP7000 also comes in a dual-interval scale, which measures 0-6kg in 2g increments / 6-15kg in 5g increments, or 0-12 lb in 0.01 lb increments / 12-30 lb in 0.005 lb increments. This is for specialized applications where the end user is regularly measuring small weights, and allows the minimum amount weighed to be around half that of the standard scale.
