My Zebra Scanner Drivers License Parsing is not working properly for New York licenses. What is causing this?

Answer

Due to a change in the programming of New York ID barcodes, the DL parsing on older Zebra scanners, may have a parsing issue that will be resolved with a firmware update. Zebra Technologies recently released a firmware update, that corrects the parsing issue specifically for New York licensing.
