Adjusting a laser barcode scanner beam width

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mspgF2yq4WY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <br> Certain laser barcode scanners from [Symbol / Zebra][1], formerly branded Motorola Barcode Scanners, are capable of having the width of their laser beam shortened or widened to make scanning small or clustered barcodes much easier. In order to change your beam width you must be using a laser barcode scanner from Symbol/Zebra/Motorola, like the [LS2208 Retail Scanner][2], [LS4208 Rasterizing Retail Scanner][3], or [LS3008 Light Industrial Scanner][4]. Simply scan the barcode for the beam width that you wish to use. By default, the scanner uses full width. You can also find these barcodes in the manual that comes with your scanner. NOTE: Laser scanners don't read images on screens. Please print the image below and then scan.
