Which scanner models are compatable with Quick Books Premier?
Answer
All scanners that emulate keyboards should work. Any scanner with a PS/2 Keybard Wedge interface is likely compatible with QuickBooks Premier. We recommend the Symbol LS2208 or the Honeywell Voyager 1450g, however any keyboard wedge scanner should be able to work.
Keyboard wedge scanners connect to your computer via the same port your keyboard does. This connection allows the scanner to function like a keyboard. The data gets entered wherever you place the cursor, into whatever software you have running. Because of this, a keyboard wedge scanner can interface with QuickBooks Premier.
