Orbit 7120/7180 Presentation Barcode Scanners
The Honeywell Orbit 7120/7180 is nearing end of life. It will soon be replaced by the Honeywell Orbit 7190g.
Orbit's unique, contoured shape allows hand-held use when scanning large or bulky items. Engineered with a large, easy-to-find sweet spot, Orbit increases first-pass read rate for maximum productivity. The scanning head virtically tilts a full 30% for barcode scanning ease.
Metrologic's MS7120 Orbit has a patented 20-line omnidirectional scan pattern producing 1,200 scan lines per second. These features increase the scanning through-put without increasing the barcode scanner's size. Orbit is engineered for easy configuration and utilizes user-replaceable cables. Data editing or parsing is also a standard feature. Parsing enables the encoded information to be manipulated to meet the host system's requirements.

Honeywell Orbit 7120/7180 Reviews
One of the long standing customer favorites for presentation scanner. This scanner uses a grid of lasers to capture barcode data, it can only scan regular 1D barcodes (lines). This is an older model that still performs well but lacks the capabilities of the newer model the Genesis that can also capture 2D barcodes and scan phones.
