What happens if I cancel my PC America Cash Register Express support contract or license contract before the 3 year time frame is up?

As of April of 2022, according to PC America, if a monthly support or licensing contract is cancelled for any reason, the end user will incur a 3 month cost penalty to cancel the contract, and the support/licensing stays valid till the end of that current month.
