Enabling Legacy Notepad on Windows 11

<p>The new Notepad application included with Windows 11 introduces features that make editing text easier, such as browser-style tabs, an enhanced visual UI, and rich formatting options. While useful, these features can cause issues for applications and hardware that rely on the simpler, more straightforward nature of the classic Notepad application.</p>
<p>If you are experiencing problems entering text into the new Windows 11 Notepad, or if inputting text is causing lag, we have created a quick guide to deactivate the new Notepad and restore access to the classic version.</p>

<li style="font-weight: bold; font-size: larger;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Open <b>Settings</b> &rarr; <b>System</b> &rarr; <b>Optional features</b> &rarr; <b>Added features</b>, Search Notepad.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: bold; font-size: larger;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">If it is installed, it will say &lsquo;1 feature found&rsquo; and list Notepad (system).</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: bold; font-size: larger;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">If it is not found, proceed to the next section, <b>&lsquo;Install Legacy Notepad&rsquo;</b>. </span></li>

<li style="font-weight: bold; font-size: larger;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Select <b>Open file location</b> to find the notepad.exe file itself to create a Pin or Shortcut.</span></li>
