PowerScan PD9531 Industrial Barcode Scanner
The DataLogic PowerScan PD9531 is nearing end of life. It will soon be replaced by the DataLogic PowerScan PD9630.
This product replaces the older DataLogic PowerScan 7000 2D.
The Datalogic PowerScan PD9500/PD9501 barcode scanner offers the high performance imaging necessary for heavy industrial or manufacturing data capture. Available as a standard or high performance scanner, the PD9500 fits in well in outdoor scanning or harsh environments.
The 2D area imager in the PowerScan PD9500 provides the aggressive scanning you need to keep operations moving smoothly. You get quick barcode scanning from contact to over a yard away, eliminating the hassle of learning the scanner's "sweet spot." The scanner reads barcodes as small as 2.5 Mil, terrific for the small barcodes you find on parts during the manufacturing process.
Heavy industrial environments can push hardware far beyond their capabilities. Thankfully the PowerScan PD9500 has been built to handle these steep demands. The scanner is built to operate in temperatures as low as -4° F, ideal for cold storage and outdoor barcode scanning. An environmental seal rated at IP65 keeps all dust and low pressure jets of water from harming internal components, and the scanner is reinforced to survive drops of over 6 feet to concrete.
