FAQ# 2323: I notice some Honeywell items have a new "-N" attached to the end of the part number, what does that mean, exactly?
Question
I notice some Honeywell items have a new "-N" attached to the end of the part number, what does that mean, exactly?
Answer
Honeywell has recently been in the process of changing the location of some of their manufacturing for certain items. To denote this change to the more current version of your favorite equipment from Honeywell's family of products, the "-N" designation has been added to show country of origin. The same pricing and quality you would expect from Honeywell is still intact and going strong, with little changes here and there to the nomenclature on a purely categorical standpoint.
