How to use Google Cloud Print with any printer

Many people have been asking for printers that support Google Cloud Print. Unfortunately this is a relatively new feature to be available for receipt printers. Only 1 printer has a native cloud print function, the [Star TSP650II - Cloud Print version.](https://posguys.com/receipt-pos-printer_12/Star-Micronics-TSP650II_2547/37966000_1141032/)

Instead, I am going to show you how to enable this on any printer. I tested out the google cloud print in our office. You will need a google account to do this, a windows PC, and a printer with a windows driver.

First step is to open your Chrome browser. Then sync your chrome browser with your Google account. 
>At the top-right, click Profile. 
Click "Turn on sync" and then "Turn on"

Once the chrome browser is synced with your google account, you will need to actually turn on "cloud printing" by adding printers.
> Click top right icon for "customize">settings>advanced>google cloud print>manage cloud print devices> Add printers>

Here you want to add the printer by finding it on the list and selecting the check box of the printer you want to add. Then click on "add printers"

Part two is to print from a mobile device the webpage you are on. Make sure that device has the same google account.
>Open up the Chrome Browser app
Select the share icon (looks like a colon) :   
then select "print".

I was able to print a page to our printer here. In theory any printer should work that has a windows driver.

I simply used the PC as a print server to set it up. If you are using just android devices for example, you would need to set up the printer on the network with a windows PC first. If using the wifi version, the usb cable to the PC would be required first. If using the "Ethernet" version, you can configure the printer on the network using Epson's "EpsonNet Config utility".

Google Cloud print has not been confirmed with iOS or Mac. but I believe it will work on Chrome OS.
