POS System Leasing

Does your business need a Point of Sale System, but don't have the funds for one? Perhaps an out of pocket expense is not an option at this time. That's okay, I've worked with several merchants and helped them out with leasing options. I'll often get asked how leasing works and how much the payments are , which I will discuss here. Secondly, there are a few procedures involved which I will go over. Finally, I'll address the advantages and disadvantages.

For equipment leasing, we work with a few different companies that handle the leasing portion. If you have been in business for at least 1 year then applying for a traditional lease to own option is easy. Amount approved will depend on company history, credit score, and financial standing. For start up companies, I've worked with a few merchants who has taken out a business loan with a local or national bank to cover the costs of a POS System.

Additionally, application process is usually one or two pages, depending on how long you've been in business. Companies we work with usually require more information for start ups. The review process can take from 1-3 business days typically and is followed up by a call or email from us to inform you if you've been approved or not. After this, we communicate with the lease company and release the order to be shipped out.

The advantage with this option is the low initial cost. A POS System usually pays itself off. The functionality of the POS system saves time and decreases the chance of losing money through shrinkage (inventory loss) and sales errors. Slight disadvantages are obviously interest fees for leasing the system. In conclusion, this is a great option to save initial upfront costs and invest it in other portions of your business.
