Feedback is important for developers and most accept feedback either through phone, email or features built into the software that allows a user to submit their thoughts on existing features in the software or how they might be improved. My most recent run in with this was in Quickbooks Point of Sale; the physical inventory count specifically. After using one of the approved mobile devices to collect data on inventory, you can sync it up with the database in Quickbooks POS to add stock to the current inventory count. What this doesn't include is the feature to add items that didn't exist in the database beforehand. These scans will come up as 'Unrecognized Scans' and the software will only let you print a list of those items. This is a perfect example of something to provide feedback on. The feedback given in this case was to include a feature that will let the user edit the fields in the data table in order to add the unrecognized items to the database. Its a feature you would expect the software to have and seems like it would be easy enough to implement, but its not available. While results from this feedback wont be instantaneous, it will have an impact on what features Intuit looks into adding in future updates. <i>Note: The feedback option in Quickbooks POS is available under the Help menu as 'Send Feedback'.</i>
