Epson TM-U220 Impact Receipt Printer
By: POSGuys - 11/30/2016
Although the Epson TM-U220 is not a new receipt printer, it remains an industry leader among impact printers. We receive many questions about this printer, along with questions about the difference between thermal and impact printers, so we thought it was time to update our review of the TM-U220. By: POSGuys - 3/21/2016
Symbol LS2208 now the Zebra LS2208 The Zebra LS2208 is the new name for one of the best selling barcode scanners of all time with over 5 million units sold. It was originally the Symbol LS2208 and part of Symbol Solutions before they became Motorola Solutions which eventually was bought out by Zebra Technologies. What made the LS2208 so good was its compact form factor, double trigger, and easy compatibility. When the 2208 was created, there was a lot of confusion on what interface to use, serial scanners, ps2 keyboard wedge interfaces, and synapse were all used in the point of sale and au...

Check out the two videos below or continue reading to get to the meat of the article. TLDR! (The too long didn't read version for the busy entrepreneur.) The DS4308 is better than the DS4208 because it scans from greater distance, usually has a similar price, and has generally better tech specs. If you are thinking of buyi...
